A steampunk party for a steamy old punk, 78
http://cloggo.tumblr.com/
It was early evening New Year’s Eve when I got the
news that it was also Cloggo’s birthday today! (I mean yesterday now, Dec 31)
What to do? This was a hell of a day to try and make a splash in Sydney, but then he IS Cloggo so I made a few calls on the blower … … and Patrick came up with the perfect idea: a steampunk cruise on Sydney Harbour in his honour! It so happens there are quite a few steampunk enthusiasts in Sydney; the only problem was they hadn’t heard of Clogiron before. I said not to worry, I’ll bring along his blogs — both the StumbleUpon one and the Tumblr one — and to cut a long story short they’re now signed-up members of his fan club (or Appreciation Society, as it is known). Cloggo, you are a wonder. Happiest of happy birthdays to you and here are the photos, hastily uploaded, from our cruise in your honour.
PS As you can see, one wag came along as Cloggo himself.

For the love of Jesus and art
http://mattstone.blogs.com/
Matt Stone blogs about Christian art … with all the free-spiritedness I associate with maybe a mystic and none of the bludgeoning I associate with churches.
This site is fascinating and even inspired.
It covers the gamut of religious and spiritual beliefs, and religious art whether deadly serious or satirical.
Best advertisement I’ve seen for Christianity!
Art lovers, click on Jesus.
You will not be disappointed!

Oh no, not “Nana”.
I could have sworn you were dead.
You certainly don’t belong on Tumblr, you stupid old bag.
