War is peace
“Obama’s catchphrase of ‘change’ was so inspirational and exciting that 140 heads of state sent him congratulatory messages upon his election as the President of the United States in 2008.
“The whole world believed that a new change would be underway; a change that had seemed basically unreachable under the ex-President Bush.”

Someone definitely deserves a credit.
Too handsome to NOT share though.
Simple guide to the World Cup for those who are just a jot more interested than those who might say “what world cup?” and change the subject.
Personally, I might have endured a little bit of it but those horns sent me reaching for the mute button.
You too?
The Free Gaza and Palestine cause in a nutshell
For those who have been bewildered by the deluge of stories and opinions since the Gaza flotilla massacre, and not wanted to get bogged down, I have pulled together what I think are some of the best and most accessible articles and video clips.
The articles provide info on who has been involved in the cause, profiles of those who died in the massacre, eye-witness accounts of the attack on the Mavi-Marmara, information about Rachel Corrie (an American who was killed in Gaza by an Israeli bulldozer while protesting), an explanation of the food and goods Israel will not allow into Gaza, the views of an Auschwitz survivor who sees Nazi behaviour in the Israelis, and some info on how the US protects Israel from action by the UN and other world bodies. The video clips include interviews with a Palestinian lawyer, Al-Jazeera’s Jamal ElShayyal who was on the Mavi Marmara, a former Reagan administration official talking about how AIPAC buys US politicians, a speech by Rachel Corrie and an interview with US commentator Glenn Greenwald. Please look at some of them, and share them with friends — especially if you live in the US, where info is heavily censored and the Zionist lobby dictates the agenda.
